Black Aluminium Pins, Clips and Rivets

Our range of non threaded fasteners includes Dowel Pins, Split Pins, R-Clips, Pop Rivets, Roll Pins, Clevis Pins and Lynch Pins. All designed to be used with pre-drilled or reamed holes to ensure a safe and solid union. R-Clips can be re-used and are easier to fit and remove. Cotter Pins are more usually single use items as they are bent during fitment and removal which weakens the metal.

Fastener Material Key
A1	A1 Stainless Steel - Also known as grade 303. A general purpose grade of stainless steel but with better fabrication/machining properties than grade 304.
A2	A2 Stainless Steel - Also known as grade 304 or 18/8. A general purpose grade of stainless steel.
A4	A4 Stainless Steel - Also known as grade 316 or 18/8/3. A higher corrosion resistant, marine grade of stainless steel.
Alum Blk	Black Coated Aluminium - Black coated lightweight aluminium, with a steel mandrill.
Alum Pln	Plain Aluminium - Typically for blind rivets, plain, unpainted lightweight aluminium, with a steel mandrill.
Alum Wht	White Coated Aluminium - White coated lightweight aluminium, with a steel mandrill.
Copper	Copper Alloy - Copper has good corrosion resistance and high tensile strength, allowing it to withstand high-pressure and high temperature conditions. It is a highly ductile and malleable material, enabling copper washers to create tighter seals and withstand vibration better than steel. Copper also provides excellent thermal and electrical conductivity.
SS301	301 Stainless Steel - More elastic stainless steel grade used for springs and parts that require some higher strength.

Blind rivets, also known as pop rivets, are an unthreaded fastener, and can be used when access is only available on one side of the workpiece or joint. These rivets are fitted using one of several types of riveting tool. These items are manufactured in many different types and material combinations. The examples here are the standard open type, with a domed or pan head, and are to the DIN 7337 standard.
