Countersunk Screw

Countersunk heads, or flat head screws, are used in conjunction with a countersunk hole. This design permits a clean, flush fit that leaves a neat and tidy finish to whatever project they are employed in. They can be supplied with a number of different drive systems, from the traditional slot to the more modern torx and security types. Countersunk heads are the alternative to surface mounted heads.
